Oleg Merges, MD, is an internist bringing more than 20 years of experience to SunCoast Premier Medical serving people at two convenient locations in Clermont and Davenport, Florida.
Dr. Merges began his professional pursuits at Grodno State Medical University in Grodno, Belarus, earning his Doctor of Medicine. Then, he completed a postgraduate internship in internal medicine at Brest Regional Hospital in Belarus and a second postgraduate internship at Hospital Metropolitano Dr. Pila in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
Since entering private practice, Dr. Merges has served in various capacities, including attending physician, medical assistant, internist, and emergency room physician. He proudly holds certification in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and pediatric advanced life support (PALS).
Dr. Merges makes a concerted effort to understand each individual’s symptoms and unique health concerns. Then, he uses his training and expertise to develop custom care plans that encourage optimal well-being.
